THREE LUCKY Stoke City supporters will strike Gold when their Season Tickets are delivered over the next few days . . . and that will turn the eagerly-anticipated first home game of the season against Tottenham Hotspur into an extra special occasion for them.
Britannia, the Club's Principal Club Partner, is sending out three Golden Tickets in the mailout of City's Season Tickets for the 2010-11 campaign and they will give the recipients an opportunity to watch the Spurs game on Saturday 21st August in some style.
The winners will be special guests of Britannia in an Executive Suite for the meeting with Harry Redknapp's Champions League qualifiers and that will include a complimentary meal before watching the game from some of the best seats in the stadium.
They will also be invited to take along a guest for the Britannia Stadium curtain-raiser of City's third season in the Barclays Premier League when they face Spurs.
The three Golden Tickets have been randomly inserted into the Season Ticket renewal packs which are being sent out with the new Membership cards.
More than 20,000 Season Tickets are being distributed by the Club to supporters following the record-breaking success of sales so far this year.
That excellent response has highlighted once again the tremendous loyalty and commitment of City fans which has played a big part in the Club's success.
A prominent feature of Britannia's sponsorship, which is now in its 14th year, has been recognising the passion of the supporters, a recent example of that being the highly-successful Proud to be a Potter campaign which was run earlier this year.
Britannia is proud of its association with the Club, which is now one of the longest-running sponsorship agreements in the history of English football.
Now part of The Co-operative Financial Services, which also includes The Co-operative Bank and The Co-operative Insurances, Britannia presented the Football Club with more than £7 million in annual cash bonuses generated by the Save and Support Savings Account which was set up at the start of the sponsorship agreement.
With 18,000 account holders, this savings scheme is extremely successful due to the loyalty of fans and the money has been used for some very worthwhile projects which have contributed to the progress made by the Club.
As the countdown to the new season gathers pace, City fans will be hoping the envelope which drops through their letterbox contains a Golden Ticket.
*Supporters will be receiving their Season Tickets and Membership packs over the next couple of weeks.
