STOKE CITY mascot Pottermus worked for Premier League 4 Sport during National School Sports Week . . . as a volleyball coach in a range of primary schools where he encouraged participation for Year 6 pupils.
Pottermus helped the Volleyball coaches from the Football Club encourage pupils who are starting a new school in September to take up the sport at their new school with one of Stoke City's Premier League 4 Sport Satellite clubs.
Coaching activity has been taking place at primary schools where pupils will start at satellite club venues in September, hopefully giving them a head start in wanting to represent Stoke City in a new Olympic Sport.
The sessions were delivered as part of a large scale coaching programme organised by Premier League 4 Sport at Stoke City for young people taking part in new Olympic and Paralympic sports in National School Sports Week.

With the two year countdown to the Olympics now on, there were lots of talented volleyball players in action.
Jo Lunn, Primary Link Tutor at Oakhill Primary School thanked the project for their involvement, saying: "The Children have enjoyed the volleyball so much and having Pottamus here made it very special."
