STOKE CITY'S teenage striker Louis Moult has been handed a chance to gain valuable League experience by completing a loan move to Bradford City.

The Academy scholar, who became City's youngest player to appear in the Barclays Premier League when he made his debut in the 1-1 draw at Burnley last season, will join the League Two club on a six-month loan agreement until the end of the year.

Bradford boss Peter Taylor had been looking to sign a striker on loan to bolster his club's chances of success and terms have been agreed which takes Moult to Valley Parade as the West Yorkshire club prepare for next weekend's League Two kick-off.

Manager Tony Pulis welcomed news of the move, saying: "Louis made fantastic progress with us last season and this is an excellent opportunity to gain the kind of experience which will enable him to continue along that path over the coming months.

"Peter Taylor is one of the most experienced coaches in the game, so I am sure the kid will benefit enormously from the chance to work with him."

Moult enjoyed a remarkable rise to prominence in the 2009-10 season after starting the campaign with a prolific goalscoring run in the Club's youth team.

When he sustained that success with some impressive performances in the reserve side, he was called up into the first team squad for that debut at Burnley and was rewarded for his success with the offer of his first professional contract, a two-year deal.
