- Gudjohnsen then switched Stamford Bridge for the Nou Camp in 2006 and played alongside the likes of Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o at Barcelona -

- His three year spell with the Spanish giants ended perfectly with Eidur going on to lift the Champions League trophy in 2009 after defeating Manchester United -
