STOKE CITY'S transfer deadline signings have sparked a rush for tickets for their next Barclays Premier League match against Aston Villa.
The prospect of seeing Eidur Gudjohnsen, Marc Wilson and Jermaine Pennant making their debuts in the Britannia Stadium encounter on Monday 13th September meant that the Britannia Stadium Ticket Office has been busy in the past 24 hours.
Indeed, City could have a fourth player making his home debut in the shape of club record signing Kenwyne Jones when they take on Villa.
"Transfer deadline day created a lot of interest and excitement among supporters and that has been reflected in the number of tickets we have sold for Villa since we announced the new signings," said City's Chief Executive Tony Scholes.
"There were a lot of people at the stadium on Tuesday to see the new players arriving and the Ticket Office has been very busy ever since."
He added: "We still have tickets remaining for the Villa match, but they are selling fast, so we would urge people to book early. As ever, there should be a fantastic atmosphere for a great occasion when we welcome these new signings."
The tickets are on general sale for the visit of Kevin MacDonald's side, but non Season Ticket Holders are reminded that by becoming Silver Members, they can not only gain priority access, but can create a package to secure their seats in advance.
The 'Create Your Own Ticket Package' means that supporters who have signed up to be a Silver Member can plan ahead by choosing a group of games for which they can book tickets in advance of them being placed on sale.
The packages, which are exclusive to Silver Members, allow them to choose three, five or seven games across the three categories of matchday ticket prices which apply to City's home fixtures in the Barclays Premier League.
The 'Create Your Own Ticket Package' means that a Silver Member opting for three matches can choose one A*, one A and one B game from the different categories of matchday ticket prices. The options are as follows:
*Three Match Package - 1A*, 1A, 1B
*Five Match Package - 1A*, 3A, 1B
*Seven Match Package - 2A*, 3A, 2B
Silver Membership costs only £30.00 and gives fans unable to commit to a Season Ticket the chance to get closer to the Club they love.
As well as the priority access given to tickets for home matches, other benefits include exclusive Member only offers each month, a Membership pack and 5% discount off official Stoke City merchandise at all three Club Stores.
Whether purchasing single tickets or creating a package, each individual Silver Membership allows you to purchase one ticket per game.
