Danny completed a £2,750,000 move from Premier League rivals Sunderland on the September transfer deadline day.
Collins, who began his Football League career with hometown club Chester City, had been a key figure in Sunderland's defence for the previous four seasons after moving to the Stadium of Light for a six-figure transfer fee in October 2004.
He was unused substitute for the Black Cats, against the Potters, just days before making the switch to the Britannia Stadium in a deal that could rise to £3,500,000.
