Matty arrived from Crewe Alexandra in a double deal alongside Ben Marshall that opened City's summer transfer business.
Both players had graduated through the Academy set-up at Crewe before contacting the Potters about a move to the Britannia Stadium.
Lund, a centre midfielder, scored against the Potters during an Under 18's match between the two sides last season.
