Ricardo finished as City's top scorer in both of his first season's in the Championship and completed a memorable hat-trick with 11 goals in the Premier League last term.
The Jamaica international joined the Club from Southampton in August 2006 and quickly established himself as a terrace hero with lightning pace, incredible skill and 10 goals in his first season at the Britannia Stadium.
He bagged 15 in just 39 league games during the promotion campaign and hit double figures for the third year in succession after easily making the step up to the Premier League.
The 29-year-old had played in the top flight before for Portsmouth but the best form of his career has come with City and his goal against Aston Villa early last season won him the Club's goal of the season award for the second year in a row.
