RAC Link Sets Up Breakdown Offer

Posted on: Fri 17 Dec 2010

ROBERT HUTH has given his endorsement to a new partnership between Stoke City's insurance service and the United Kingdom's leading breakdown providers to help supporters stay safe and on the road during the winter months.

The German international defender helped to launch an association between Stoke City FC Insurance and RAC which will enable the Club's supporters to receive 20 per cent discount off the normal price of a year's breakdown cover.

The affiliation will also give fans a £20.00 voucher to spend in one of the Club Stores when they join online at stokecityfcinsurance.com.

The Club's new insurance affinity scheme was recently launched by the Club in partnership with local company Nowell and Richards.

Richard Nowell, Managing Director of Nowell and Richards, said: "Stoke City FC Insurance's partnership with RAC comes at a crucial time in the year, just as the weather starts taking a turn for the worse and driving becomes more treacherous.

"The offer allows fans the opportunity to receive a market-leading product with RAC at a very competitive discount rate and also gives them a £20 voucher to spend at the club shop as people start buying Christmas presents."

Huth said: "The players really appreciate the effort our supporters go to travelling throughout the season supporting us and this partnership allows them to travel knowing that they have the reassurance of RAC breakdown cover.

"I'm sure they will also enjoy being able to take advantage of the £20 voucher for the club shop, especially just before Christmas."

RAC's Customer Offer Manager John Cutler commented: "Statistics show a significantly higher number of cars break down in the winter months due to the colder and wetter weather so this offer is perfectly timed."
