Sidibe Comeback Continues In Reserves

Posted on: Tue 03 Nov 2009

MAMADY SIDIBE will continue his comeback from a long injury lay-off by lining up in Stoke City's reserve side when they take on Chelsea at Nantwich Town's Weaver Stadium this evening.

The Malian international striker will spearhead the Potters attack after coming on a substitute in the Carling Cup defeat at Portsmouth and the Barclays Premier League draw with Wolves on Saturday.

Sidibe, who has spent nine months on the sidelines with a knee ligament injury, will partner David Kitson in City's attack, while there is also a place for England Under-19 international Nathaniel Wedderburn in the Barclays Premier Reserve League South fixture against Chelsea.
