STOKE CITY will field a youthful looking line-up for this evening's Barclays Premier Reserve League South fixture against Aston Villa at Villa Park. (7pm)
Mark O'Connor has just two players who have featured for the first team at his disposal, Louis Moult and Matthew Lund, with the rest of the squad being made up from Academy players.
Dave Parton will start off in goal, with the backline consisting of scholars Alex Hedley, Matty Cohen, Rodney MacDonald and Laton Wint.
The five-man midfield consists of former Crewe Alexandra man Lund, Cameron Mitchell, Ryan Connor, Andy Nicholls and Tom Urwin, who recently undertook a trial with Plymouth Argyle.
While Moult, who was an un-used substitute during the Potters' goalless draw with Wolves at Molineux last Sunday, will start up front in a lone role.
Villa, who will win the league title for a second successive year should they collect all three points, are themselves expected to name a young side following their first team's 2-2 draw with Everton last night.
CITY: Parton; Hedley, Cohen, MacDonald, Wint; Mitchell, Lund, Connor, Nicholls, Urwin; Moult. Subs: Jackson, Alexander, Foster.
