MARK HUGHES has an array of goalkeeping options available to him and young Daniel Bachmann is another of those.
The highly-regarded stopper has progressed through the Club's Academy set-up, and whilst he has yet to make his first-team bow, he has been on the radar of his national side for several years.
A regular at youth level for Austria, the 22-year-old was named on standby for a spot in his country’s 23-man squad for the recent European Championships in France.
Unfortunately, a call up never materialised, but he will be buoyed by his inclusion in the standby list, and is eager to impress the City hierarchy in training or out on loan.
He has already enjoyed several periods away from the Club with Wrexham, Ross County and more recently League One side Bury.
