REGARDED by many as the finest young goalkeeper in the game, Jack Butland will be eager to re-establish himself as Potters number one this season.
The stopper, who became England's youngest ever senior stopper against Italy at the age of 19 in 2012, enjoyed a stunning maiden top-flight campaign for the Potters in 2015/16.
Having served his apprenticeship, and enjoyed loan spells with Birmingham City, Barnsley, Leeds United and Derby County, Mark Hughes handed him the number one jersey following Asmir Begovic's departure in the summer of 2015.
He repaid his manager's faith in him by producing a quite stunning start to life in the Premier league, before seeing his campaign abruptly ended in March by injury.
It was a heart-breaking blow for the talented 23-year-old, who looked a shoehorn in Roy Hodson's England squad for Euro 2016, with many even tipping him to jostle the Three Lions starting spot from Joe Hart.
