JAKOB HAUGAARD became Mark Hughes' second close season capture when he agreed to make a move to the Britannia Stadium from Danish Champions FC Midtjylland at the end of May.
The highly-regarded former Denmark youth international was drafted in as a replacement for his compatriot Thomas Sorensen, who departed the Club following the conclusion of the 2014/15 season.
A giant of a 'keeper, standing at 6'6, Haugaard featured 25 times for his former side as he helped them to the Danish Superliga title.
The opportunity to move to the Barclays Premier League was too good to resist however, and he waved goodbye to the Wolves and inked a three-year deal in the Potteries ahead of the Club's eighth consecutive top-flight term.
