THE Welsh dynamo stunned many when he inked a long-term deal with the Potters following his stunning Euro 2016 showing for Wales last summer.

Adored by Liverpool supporters for his tenacious and tireless approach to the game, Jurgen Klopp surprisingly allowed the midfielder to leave the Club for £13M after four years at Anfield.

The Reds' loss was undoubtedly Stoke City's gain however, with the former Swansea City ace establishing himself as a key performer in the heart of Mark Hughes' side.

Ironically, he netted the decisive spot kick in the Capital One Cup Semi-Final against Stoke City at Anfield six months prior to his switch, before enjoying a remarkable summer.

He played a pivotal role in the Wales squad as they reached the Semi-Final of the European Championships, earning himself a spot in the 'Team of the Tournament' as a consequence of his impressive showings.
