For 2017/18, the Potters are expanding their City 7s scheme and will be exclusively offering FREE membership to 8,000 Year 2 pupils at 215 schools in and around Staffordshire.
The aim is to engage with more young football fans in what is thought to be the biggest initiative of its kind ever undertaken in the English game.
Stoke City Chief Executive Tony Scholes says: “City 7s has proved to be an enormously successful way of introducing year two pupils to their local club and this year we want to reach out to every seven-year-old in Staffordshire.
“We have written to 215 schools across the county inviting them to register for City 7s and each season we will be offering more than 8,000 youngsters a free shirt and free match tickets at specially designed Stoke City assemblies in their schools.”
The expanded City 7s scheme will be exclusively supported by Staffordshire University, the Club’s Education & Lifelong Partner.
PLEASE NOTE: Membership is only available through the 215 partner schools.
