Lewis Baker has signed a new long-term contract with Stoke City, the Club are delighted to announce.

The 27-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper on a new three-year agreement, committing him to the Potters until at least the summer of 2025.

Baker made a huge impact at the bet365 Stadium in the second half of last season after joining the Club from Chelsea, scoring eight goals in 20 appearances and producing a string of eye-catching displays.

Speaking to Stoke City+ after signing the contract, he said: “I’m really happy and it’s been fantastic since I first stepped foot in here.

“Everybody has been very welcoming and it’s a place where I can see a future and hopefully that future is with everybody in the Premier League.

“Since the first day I came in and spoke to everyone, I really felt at home here and with everyone’s vision of where they see the Club, it kind of aligns with mine and the project of where we want to get to and what type of team we want to be.

“It is very appealing and like I say, hopefully we can be in the Premier League with that.”

Manager Michael O’Neill added: “Lewis settled in so quickly with us and that was reflected in the consistency of his performances.

“He became a very important player for us in a short space of time and I’m delighted he has reaffirmed his commitment to the Club by signing a new contract.”
