Scottish defender heads to Turf Moor...
PHIL BARDSLEY has today departed the bet365 Stadium to join Premier League rivals Burnley.
The Scotland international has penned a two-year contract at Turf Moor after the Potters agreed an initial £750k deal.
That figure could rise to £1.5M however should certain performance-related add-ons be triggered.
The 32-year-old joined Mark Hughes' side from Sunderland in the summer of 2014 and went on to make 63 appearances in all competitions for the Club.
During that time he netted two goals, one of which was a stunning effort in last season's EFL Cup victory over Stevenage.
The Club would like to take this opportunity to thank Phil for his efforts and wish him well in the future.
