Contract Exclusive: New Deal For Ramadan

Club News

RAMADAN has committed his long-term future to Stoke City by signing a new five-year contract with the Club.

The Egyptian international joined the Potters from Al Ahly 12 months ago and made a big impression in his first season in the English game.

The 20-year-old winger made 19 appearances - 17 of them in the Premier League - and produced a string of eye-catching displays which prompted City to offer him a new, improved deal.

Chief Executive Tony Scholes said: “There’s no doubting that Ramadan is an exciting young talent.

“The first year in a new league and it’s fair to say new culture is always going to be challenging for a player. However, Ramadan has adapted to the league and country very quickly and showed that he has enormous potential. We’re delighted to have secured him on a contract until at least 2022.”
