Etebo Plays In Uganda Draw

Oghenekaro Etebo

PETER ETEBO featured for Nigeria yesterday evening as they recorded a goalless against Uganda in an international friendly between the two African nations.

The 23-year-old played the first half of the contest held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba before being replaced during the half time interval.

Last night’s match was of course the second time the 23-year-old has played for his country during the current international break.

The dynamic midfielder featured for the full 90 minutes on Saturday as the Super Eagles secured their place at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations courtesy of a 1-1 draw in South Africa.

Etebo will now return to Clayton Wood as the Potters prepare for the visit of Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
