Former winger to make special event...
TONY KELLY is the latest ex-player to confirm his attendance at Stoke City’s Class of 92 event in the New Year.
The former winger will link up with his old teammates to celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of the Club’s favourite ever sides.
The 1992/93 campaign turned out to be a truly unforgettable one for Lou Macari's side as they clinched the Second Division title at the Victoria Ground.
The Potters smashed a number of Club records along the way, including most points for a season (93) and longest unbeaten run (25).
The team’s success unsurprisingly created many fans’ favourites with the likes of Vince Overson, Nigel Gleghorn, Kevin ‘Rooster’ Russell, Wayne ‘Bertie’ Biggins and goal machine Mark Stein heroes to many.
Macari and born and bred ex-midfielder Carl Beeston have already confirmed their attendance with more expected to be announced in due course.
The special event will take place in the Tony Waddington Suite on Friday 23rd March with a 7.00pm start and 11.30pm finish.
Tickets for what is sure to be a fantastic evening are priced at only £25.00. This includes entry to the venue as well as a chips, pie and peas meal.

All money raised will be donated to the Stoke City Community Trust.
