Kevin Wimmer handed City debut...
MARK HUGHES made two changes to his starting line-up for the visit of Manchester United on Saturday evening.
Summer signing Kevin Wimmer was handed his debut for the Club while Mame Diouf returned to the side following injury.
The two men who made way were captain Ryan Shawcross who picked up a back problem in training this week and fellow defender Bruno Martins Indi.
England goalkeeper Jack Butland retained his place in between the sticks and marshalled a back three of Wimmer, Kurt Zouma and Cameron.
Mame Diouf’s return to the side saw him take Cameron’s position at right wing back, with Erik Pieters on the other side of midfield duo Darren Fletcher and Joe Allen.
Xherdan Shaqiri and Jesé were selected in support of striker Maxim Choupo-Moting who recovered in time from a hamstring injury picked up on international duty.
Martins Indi was named among City’s seven substitutes alongside the likes of Ramadan and Peter Crouch.
Stoke City: Butland; Wimmer, Zouma, Cameron; Diouf, Fletcher, Allen, Pieters; Shaqiri, Jesé; Choupo-Moting. Subs: Grant, Tymon, Martins Indi, Adam, Ramadan, Berahino, Crouch.
