STOKE CITY fans overseas will be able to follow the Potters’ progress this season like never before, courtesy of a new matchday streaming service – Stoke City+ Live.

The Potters will be live streaming the majority of its Championship games to their international supporters - with the exception of those selected for TV broadcast – via the Club’s official website and official app.

Due to EFL broadcast restrictions, the full international live streaming service is unavailable to fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

However, UK and Ireland supporters will be able to watch all live games that kick off outside the 3pm Saturday window, with the exception of Bank Holiday fixtures and those shown live on Sky Sports.

With Sky showing live City’s Championship opener against Leeds at Elland Road on Sunday, August 5, the Club’s first international live streamed game will come from the bet365 Stadium when Brentford visit on Saturday, August 11.

The first live stream for UK and Ireland supporters will be on Wednesday, August 22 when newly-promoted Wigan Athletic visit North Staffordshire.

Under EFL broadcast rules the Club’s live streaming and audio commentary can only be made available via a paid subscription model.

The Potters will be producing their own streaming service with commentary. However, the Club are determined to keep prices to a minimum. Further information, including subscription and individual match prices, will be available shortly.

As well as the new streaming service, fans will continue to have access to the Club’s comprehensive matchday coverage which includes our Match Centre on, post-match reaction from manager Gary Rowett and members of the first team squad and comprehensive highlights.

Access to interviews and behind-the-scenes features will remain free of charge to registered users of the official website and app.
