Stroud Handed DW Date

Keith Stroud

KEITH STROUD will be no stranger to either side when Stoke City make the trip to the DW Stadium to face Wigan Athletic on Wednesday evening (7.45pm).

The Hampshire-based referee took charge of the Latics’ 3-0 home victory against Blackburn Rovers earlier this season, as well as the Potters’ last game of 2018, where City drew 0-0 with Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium.

Tomorrow's clash will represent his 19th game of the 2018/19 season and his 14th of the Championship campaign. He has brandished a total of 64 yellow cards and shown two red cards this term, whilst also awarding six penalties.

Stroud will be assisted by Matt Foley and Billy Smallwood at the DW, while Ross Joyce will act at the fourth official.
