U18s Set For Youth Cup Tie

STOKE CITY U18s begin their FA Youth Cup campaign at Hillsborough this evening when they take on Sheffield Wednesday (7.00pm kick off).

The Potters enter tonight’s tie in a rich vein of form having won three of their last four matches, the last of which was a 6-1 victory over Reading on Saturday.

The Owls can also lay claim to an impressive record ahead of the third round tie as the currently sit top of their respective league with a plus 27 goal difference.

In terms of City’s recent FA Youth Cup record they have experienced totally different emotions in each of the last two seasons.

After an amazing run to the semi-finals during the 2016/17 campaign, the youngsters fell at the first hurdle last season.
