Vacancy: Community Trust Senior Coach

Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for a Senior Coach to support its Community Trust operations at the bet365 Stadium and primary school venues across North Staffordshire.  

Stoke City Community Trust is an independent and registered charity. Our mission is to improve the lives of children and young people through sport, physical activity, health and educational programmes. As the Trust continues to develop we wish to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to deliver on our Primary Schools programme.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and well-organised individual who understands the importance of physical activity for primary aged children. You will have specialist PE knowledge across an array of physical activities and, crucially, across the Key Stage 1 and 2 National Curriculum. 

Previous experience of working in education is essential to the role.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for physical education, sport and health and possess strong classroom management skills, with a good general level of education, administration and communication skills.  You will need to hold the Level 3 Certificate in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport and at least one Level 2 qualification in a recognised sport.

You will also be expected to have an active role in other duties required to deliver the outcomes and targets of Stoke City Community Trust.

The successful applicant will be available to work evenings and weekends to cover match day fixtures and other adhoc events at the bet365 Stadium.  

The position will be offered on a full time basis. All relevant training will be provided.
