Vacancy: Physiotherapists / Sports Therapists

Swan Physio / Swan Health and Rehabilitation are looking for therapists to support its operations with Stoke City Football Club across the seven teams within the Girls Regional Talent Club and Ladies squads. 

The successful applicants will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment and exercise rehabilitation on training days as well as pitch side preparation and first aid on match days. Becoming an enthusiastic and committed member of our multidisciplinary medical team, you will be required to provide mentoring to our Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy students from local universities over the course of the season. 

Ideal candidates will hold an Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Physiotherapist/Sports Therapy and associated professional registration.

FA IFAS or Intermediate Trauma Medial Management in Football ITMMIF is essential, or must be registered/completed by end of July 2019. Applications from final year students due to graduate by July 2019 will also be considered.

A full UK drivers licence and access to your own vehicle would be advantageous as would some football knowledge and previous experience of working within a sporting environment in particular working with youth teams as well as experience of paediatric injuries, taping, strapping, and massage.

You will be available to work evenings and weekends to cover training sessions, matchday fixtures and other adhoc events. Positions will be offered by Swan Physio / Health and Rehabilitation on a self-employed/employed, casual and intermittent basis depending on the candidate’s individual circumstances to suit candidates and the companies’ best interests. All relevant training will be provided.
