A product of the Potters’ academy, Emre Tezgel became the youngest player in the club’s history when he appeared in an Emirates FA Cup tie against Leyton Orient in January 2022 aged 16.

The forward signed scholarship forms later in the year before committing his long-term future to the club by penning a three-year professional contract on his 17th birthday.

The England youth international has since gone on to feature regularly for the Potters’ Under-21s side and train with the first team.
