What does the subscription offer?

Stoke City+ Live offers fans an alternative way to follow Stoke City matches if they cannot attend games. 

Live Video – live video coverage of games with exclusive Stoke City commentary. Restrictions apply on broadcast due to EFL regulations. 

Live Audio – full match commentary supplied by BBC Radio Stoke for every Championship game during the season.

How much does it cost?

Live Video:

Seasonal Pass (international only) – £110 one off payment 
Match Pass (international only) - £5 per match 
Match Pass (UK and Ireland) - £10 per match 

Live Audio: 

Seasonal Pass (all supporters) – £45 one off payment 
Monthly Pass (all supporters) - £5 per month automatically renews unless cancelled

How can I watch?

Live video broadcasts can be viewed on desktop or accessed on mobile via the Official Stoke City App. 

Please note that on mobile/tablet, due to EFL regulations coverage cannot be accessed through mobile browser. However coverage can be accessed on mobile/tablet via the Official App.

How can I listen?

Live audio commentary can be accessed on all devices. 

When can I watch games?

*unless scheduled for domestic and international transmission (Saturday 2:45pm-5:15pm kick offs cannot be watched in the UK regardless). Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are also excluded from the live international streaming. 

If you live in one of the countries below and purchase the seasonal International pass, you can currently watch ALL Stoke City clashes on our live stream, due to the EFL currently having no live broadcasting rights agreed. Please note that the list is subject to change by the EFL at any time.  

Europe - Albania, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Spain, Ukraine

Will there be an on demand/playback service?

Due to EFL broadcast regulations we are unable to provide any delayed playback service. The stream will be available to view live at the time of the match only. 

Where can I view highlights?

Supporters are able to view extended highlights of the game on the official site here at Stoke City+ they will be uploaded the day after each fixture. 

Why do fans in the UK and Republic of Ireland not have the same access as international fans?

Under the EFL’s existing broadcast agreement with Sky Sports clubs are unable to offer fans in the UK or Republic of Ireland the same access to Stoke City+ Live as international fans.

If I live in the UK or Republic of Ireland and subscribe to Stoke City+ Live, will I be able to watch international games when travelling abroad?

Domestic fans travelling overseas will have the same access as international users only if they buy an international subscription to Stoke City+ Live once abroad. This is because the UK & Ireland subscriptions have different entitlements to the international subscriptions and you can only purchase international subscriptions outside of the UK & Ireland.

For international fans travelling to the UK & Ireland you won’t be able to view live streams that you are eligible for as your IP address when connecting to the internet will identify you as not being in an eligible country.

Will cup games be live streamed?

Due to EFL and FA broadcasting regulations only league matches will be streamed via live video. FA and League Cup matches are not eligible for UK & Ireland or international fans. However live audio commentary will still be available for all cup games for all our fans worldwide.

What devices are supported?

Audio - Every modern browser* and device no limitations.

Video - Desktop and laptop devices only, all modern browsers* on Mac, Linux or Windows.

* Modern browsers are defined as the latest stable releases of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge. The stream will not work if the browser is configured to use a native video player.

For the best support with the live stream and audio commentary, the recommended browser is Google Chrome across all devices. The streaming may not be supported on some versions of Internet Explorer.

Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure you are using compatible technology ahead of purchasing a Stoke City+ Live subscription.

What mobile devices are supported?

Video playback via the Stoke City App is supported on: 

  • All iPhones and iPads running iOS 10 or above
  • Android devices running Android 6 (Marshmallow) or above*  

*Android devices that don’t support Widevine L1 and L3 encryption (both high and low quality) will be unable to view due to EFL DRM restricitions. For any specific questions relating to playback on your device please contact [email protected]

My feed keeps buffering, what’s wrong?

Is your connection fast enough? Try to stop all current downloads, videos you are watching or torrents and visit Test your download speed - results should show a minimum of at least 2Mbps to process streamed content along with usual browsing activities efficiently.

I’m receiving a “media not found” message

The live video or audio commentary player will only be live during a match. If the club are playing and you are receiving this message, please contact [email protected]

I am still having issues with the feed/logging in, what do I do?

How do I cancel my subscription?

Please email [email protected] with your cancellation request. 

How do I get a refund?

Refunds can only be issued for people who have reported a technical issue during the game that is the fault of us or our providers and cannot be rectified.

Please note that if you do not watch a stream through choice or do not contact/report a technical issue to customer service during the game we will not issue a refund. Refunds will not be issued for supporters attempting to access via a VPN or using a smartphone or tablet browser.
