THE first of several arrivals from the European giants Barcelona, Marc Muniesa traded the Camp Nou for the bet365 Stadium in 2013.
Arriving shortly after fellow defender Erik Pieters, the youngster checked-in with a reputation of being one of Barca's most highly-regarded starlets.
Despite being dismissed on his Barcelona debut at the age of 17, the fact that he was handed his La Liga debut at such a young age was further proof of Muniesa's undoubted talent.
His elevation into the first-team fold also included a spot on the bench in their Champions League Final triumph over Manchester United in 2009, before injuries struck to hinder his progression.
Mark Hughes swooped to sign the versatile defender shortly after completing his rehabilitation and he has since shown his talents in the Premier League during his four seasons with the Potters.
He was rewarded for his progression with a new four-year deal in 2015, and is certainly a favourite amongst supporters. Muniesa made his Premier League debut against Everton in November 2013 and scored his first goals against Sunderland in a League Cup encounter the following season.
With over 50 City appearances to his name, the Spaniard had to remain patient for first team action last season, appearing just 10 times for Mark Hughes side, but did score arguably one of the goals of the campaign as he ran the length of the pitch before finishing off a super team goal against Burnley.
