A STOKE CITY legend in his own right, Ryan Shawcross will go down in history as one of the Potters' most impressive captains.
On his day, he is one of the most competent and brave central defenders in the top-flight and many will argue that his talents should have been utilised on the international stage far more frequently than they have been.
Shawcross arrived in the Potteries from Manchester United 2007 and celebrated 10 years at the Club in August 2017.
Handed the captaincy at the bet365 Stadium by Tony Pulis in his early 20s, Shawcross remains the only Potters player to lead the Club out in an FA Cup Final.
After struggling with injuries during his time at the bet365 Stadium, Shawcross has still managed to enter the top 15 of all time appearance makers for the Club.
