Bio
Stoke City secured the signature of Josh Laurent in the summer of 2022.
The 27-year-old midfielder agreed to sign a three-year contract when his previous agreement with Reading came to an end.
Laurent came through the ranks at Wycombe Wanderers and Queens Park Rangers but got his first taste of senior action with Brentford.
After a loan spell with Newport County, he joined Hartlepool United and in January 2017 he secured a move into the Championship with Wigan Athletic.
It was at Shrewsbury Town where his career really gathered pace and he has gone from strength to strength since moving to Reading two years ago, as emphasised by him winning their Player of the Season award at the end of his first campaign with the Berkshire club.
